Wishing Well, 2008

A video installation that flips the idea of a Wishing Well on its head by having a well that makes wishes from it's audience. Inside the water is projected my dreams and desires no matter how petty and impossible. By allowing the viewers to put money in the well, they are in a sense, contributing to making my dreams come true. Shown at Opto-Mystic show at Sullivan Gallery in Chicago, IL.

A video projection of a cruxified ghost with religious joke playing in the background.

 

 

Take One, 2008

An interactive video installation made for Art Bash 2008 in a proposed space. The monitors told each other an inaudible secret while slips of paper were written in that people could pick up and suggestions for the secrets were given.

Metropolis, 2009
I made this video to perform in front of for my performance and technology class. The choreography was developed from the 1920's movie Metropolis, human/machine glitches, and research based off of spontaneous human combustion.

Calendar, 2007- An interactive installation where people fill out my social calendar for the month of October.

Neck Corset, 2007- Made in fibers, boning done with coffee stirers.

 

 

As God Is My Witness, 2007- Painted animation of a scene from Gone With The Wind, made from Found spinning photo display, paint, false magnolias, and a curtain.

 

To Grandma's House I Go, 2008- A felted, illuminated interactive piece where people pick up pieces of wool and reveal words that remind me of my grandmother's house that was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.
