Hello there. My name is Molly Shea and I am a 20 year old student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Originally a native from Los Angeles, I like to create interactive art experiences. Although I have dabbled in several different forms of art, from painting to digital art my primary art form is performative video installations. I see projection and video as a way of tapping in to the dream world and the mystical mind because of its malleable nature. By taking these ghost forms and doubling them, containing them in sculpture and interacting with them I create a platform for discussion and community. My art humorously works with perceptions of desire, secrecy, the grotesque, and duality in order to bring together a group of people in an experience.
